I know that everybody loves to have free music, but downloading music from different unregistered websites is illegal. Rather than being sue for sharing illegal downloaded music you can have the benefits that legal (yes, paid) music gives you. Not only your favorite’s artist will benefit from this but also you, as a listener, will have several pleasant benefits.
The sharing music thing has to stop, because if you and many other people continue sharing, uploading and downloading free music, the artist will not have the requirement founds to continue singing. You want him or her to release the next album, right?
One of the results of not paying what you are enjoying can lead on making the artist not have sufficient founds to pay for his recording engineers and without them they can’t record another song. It’s tougher for the new talented artists that are independent. They need support at least when a bigger record company contacts them. Bigger company invests more on artists but even so, if the artist doesn’t sell the music that he sings, they can give up the signed contract.
I know that you don’t really care that much on how artists are making their living but like I said when you are paying for a product you receive some benefits. If you show no respect for the artist then, at least, show some respect for yourself. The quality of the record is much higher; you can listen more clearly to the artist’s voice, his accuracy. You will appreciate it, I promise you. It’s like drinking a bottle of expensive whisky or wine. You can tell the difference between cheap an expensive, right? It’s the same thing here, also.
Music has an important place in our life; it’s like air to us. Either you are listening to music broadcasted from radio (you pay for subscription radio), you watch the newest videos on you tube you still have to pay a subscription internet. So why shouldn’t you pay for CDs artists? At the end of the day and also at the end of this article this is just a moral argument. It’s always easier to choose the easiest path, the free path if we refer to our discussion. I have one question though, what would you feel if you weren’t paid for the work that you perform? You should think about that before downloading illegal music.
